COVID-19 UPDATE

It has become clear that the world is facing an unprecedented challenge with COVID-19.  Our top priority is ensuring a safe and secure environment for both our team members and our patients.  Therefore, we are closely monitoring the latest news reports regarding COVID-19. We want our patients to know that we are deeply concerned about the health and safety of our families and community.

On behalf of Phoenix Physical Therapy, I, Nicole Swiatek (Owner/PT), wanted to send a personal message to let you know how we are responding to the situation.  We appreciate your continued loyalty and support and take our responsibility to our patients very seriously.  Since we provide ‘hands on’ care and work in the health service industry, we are taking several precautions to keep our patients, employees and their families safe.

We have been listening to and following the advice of appropriate sources to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.  We are currently assessing the risks and taking measures to ensure the highest safety measures.

The following policies will go into effect immediately:

1.) We will be waiving the late cancellation fee until further notice.  If you feel sick, we ask that you cancel your appointment.  If you were sick and still feel remnants of that illness, we ask that you cancel your appointment.  If you do show up to your appointment sick, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.  This will help keep our office free from any type of virus, in addition to the COVID-19

2.) If you have travelled outside of the country or have been on a cruise within the past 2 weeks, please wait an additional 2 weeks before scheduling an appointment. Please ask if you have any questions regarding your recent travel and ability to schedule.

3.) We will no longer have a patient sign in sheet. Please let the receptionist know when you have arrived.

4.) Purell is available for use, as well as soap and water, as needed for patient use. Click here to view proper hand washing instructions.

5.) Employees have been advised to continue rigorous hand cleaning and hygiene maintenance and we’ve encouraged employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay at home and consult with their doctor.

6.) Please note that we are taking measures above and beyond our normal disinfecting protocols to ensure that our office stays clean and sanitized.

As COVID-19 continues to progress, we will update our policies to reflect the best practice standards.  We are committed to our patients and will continue providing excellent patient care.
We know how important your treatment is and will do everything possible to continue our operations without or minimal interruptions. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Sincerely,
Dr. Nicole Swiatek
